St Leonard's Youth
There has been a thriving youth work at St. Leonard’s for many years, and the church is so pleased to see young people beginning and continuing a faith in the Lord Jesus Christ that is vibrant and real. The young people are always willing to serve, passionate in worship, and eager to be a part of the transformation the gospel brings to ourselves and the world around us. There are many opportunities for engagement with each other, from gathering on Sundays to small groups throughout the week.
Cell Groups are at the heart of everything we do with our youth ministry. They are unapologetically Christian small groups, split into school years, that are open and accessible to people of any faith or none, who are interested in exploring what the Christian faith has to say about things that happen in our everyday lives. We meet once a week, eat some food, play some games and explore the Christian faith together through discussion and prayer. Years 10 & 11 meet on Monday, Years 7, 8 & 9 meet on Wednesday and Years 12 & 13 on Thursday.

Sunday Morning Youth runs on the 1st and 3rd Sundays
of the month at the Vicarage. Youth (Age 11-18) will meet
at St Leonard's Church for the usual service, and go out for
the group part way through, walking to the Vicarage together
with the leaders.
We also offer provision for Children during these times, please

Cell Socials
We often enjoy social time together in our Cell Groups - going forward we are aiming to have one Cell Social every month, and one Big Social once a term. Cell Social is a relaxed time together in usual Cell Groups on their usual days, playing games, making crafts and enjoying refreshments. Big Social is where all 3 Cell Groups meet up and spend time together, usually on a Friday evening.
Big Social could include going Bowling, having a firepit on the Church Land, Village Scavenger Hunts and much more!
Youth Weekend Away
In March we took 13 young people to Viney Hill for our Annual Youth Weekend Away. We enjoyed many onsite activities including: Archery, High Ropes, Tunnelling and Abseiling. We spent the weekend enjoying food, fun and fellowship together while looking into John's Gospel.
Summer Activities
During the summer weeks, we will be running a few outreach events, including: Rounders in the park, Firepits on the Church land and more. Please get in touch with Laura if you would like to find out how to get involved:
