Adventure Plus Our Mission Focus for May is Adventure Plus, a Christian charity that encourages young people through education and adventure.  You can find out more about the work of Adventure Plus, and the opportunities it offers, on the Mission Partner Noticeboard.  Information is also available on the website (, Twitter and Facebook.

The Filling Station - Wednesday 9th May Meeting starts at 7.30pm for refreshments before worship about 8pm. Neil Bennetts of The Worship Foundation will be speaking and leading worship. The venue is as usual "Open Doors", Range Road, Witney OX29 0YB

Plant & Crafts with Coffee Shop and Cakes Sat  2nd June 2018 – only 4 weeks away. Just a reminder that it is not too late to plant seeds and pot up perennials. I have spare pots if anyone is short. Aim is to raise enough to fund the Eynsham Churches Holiday Club - Mornings, Monday 30th July to Friday 3rd August 2018 at Eynsham Primary School with 75 children welcome, contact the Sugdens for details on 07898297043.

Gatehouse The Director of Gatehouse will be giving a talk about their work with homeless and vulnerably house people in Oxford at the Tolkien Room on 17th May at 7.30pm all are welcome.

Handel: Judas Maccabaeus Witney Methodist Church, 40 High St, Witney OX28 6HG Saturday 2nd June 2018, 7.00 pm. Performed by the Lower Windrush Choral Society with an invited orchestra.  Accompanied by four soloists and a small orchestra, the choir will be singing a significantly shortened version of the work.  Tickets: £12 (£13 on the door), under-18s free, will be available nearer the time from choir members, Rapture, Woolgate, Witney, St Andrew's Bookshop, High Street, Witney.  Also available online (small booking fee applies). Eynsham Choral Society Concert: On Saturday 12th May at 7.30pm in St Leonard’s there will be a performance of Haydn’s ‘Creation’  with soloists and orchestra. This is a very joyful piece of choral music celebrating God’s work of creation. Tickets at £12 and £10 are available from the DIY.
