Christmas Tree Festival
For the first time this year we will be holding a Christmas tree festival in Eynsham. These festivals, usually held before the beginning of Advent, have become a seasonal favourite in many towns. It provides an opportunity for groups from the community to decorate a tree in the church, provides opportunity for advertising those groups as well as a taster for the Christmas season to come.
The theme of this years festival is “While Shepherds watched their flocks” and officially the tress will be judged but really its simply great fun. The winners will be announced at the Christingle Service on December 2nd, 5pm, at St,Leonard’s Church.
The trees will be open for viewing and voting Friday 23rd, 12-7pm, and Saturday morning 10am-12.30pm during which there will be a café.
