ABOUT US

FIND OUT WHAT MAKES US TICK

We are an evangelical Anglican church in the heart of Eynsham village. We love to meet with each other to worship Jesus Christ, to learn from the Bible together, be led by the Holy Spirit in our lives, and to encourage each other to walk more closely with Jesus day by day.

We have thriving ministries for young people, children, families and adults, both within the church and in the wider community. We also support the work of a number of local, national, and international mission partners.

OUR BENEFICE, DEANERY, and DIOCESE

We have a very special relationship with St. Peter’s Church, Cassington, as the other parish in our benefice. We share friendship, resources and meet together to worship and pray.

Our Benefice is a part of Woodstock Deanery, Oxford Diocese and the Church of England. This ensures we are well supported in our ministry and we can, in turn, contribute to the spiritual life of the church in this area and the nation.

WHAT WE DO

We are here as a church to worship God, care for one another, and make Jesus Christ known.

We do this by:

  • Welcoming, loving, and serving all people.
  • Being committed to growing in our faith through worship, prayer and reading the Bible, both individually and together.
  • Being expectant that God, by his Spirit, will act to change and heal our lives and our community.
  • Sharing the gospel with those who do not yet know Jesus Christ, and helping them to understand it for themselves.
  • Working in partnership with national and international mission organisations, and with local community groups.
